THOUGHTFULLY GUIDED

You Do Not Have to Know How to Be Photographed.

Most people arrive believing they are not photogenic, unsure what to wear, or worried they will not know what to do in front of the camera.

That is exactly why the TMCP portrait experience is fully guided.

From wardrobe planning and professional hair and makeup to expression, posture, and posing, you will never be left to figure it out alone. Every decision is made with care so you can relax, trust the process, and be present in the experience.

Your only responsibility is to arrive. We will guide you through everything else.

THE PORTRAIT EXPERIENCE

04

Artwork Selection

We help you select the portraits you love and choose finished artwork created to be displayed, enjoyed, and passed forward.

BEFORE YOUR SESSION

Preparation That Allows You to Relax.

A meaningful portrait begins long before the camera is raised.

During your consultation and style-planning conversation, we discuss how you would like to be seen, what you want your portraits to communicate, and how the finished artwork may live in your home.

We will guide you through wardrobe choices, color coordination, styling, and session concepts. You may bring pieces you already love, sentimental items, meaningful accessories, or ideas you have been saving for years.

You do not need to arrive with everything figured out. The planning process is designed to help turn your ideas into a clear and beautiful portrait direction.

DURING YOUR SESSION

Fully Guided. Never Rushed. Completely Personal.

You do not need to practice poses, memorize expressions, or know your best angle before arriving.

Throughout your portrait session, Terence will guide your posture, hands, expression, and movement. Adjustments are made gently and clearly, one step at a time, so you always understand what to do.

The session is intentionally paced to allow room for conversation, wardrobe changes, creative exploration, and the moments that cannot be forced.

Some portraits may feel quiet and reflective. Others may feel bold, joyful, intimate, or powerful. The goal is not to place you into a standard formula. It is to create portraits that feel honest to you.

You are not expected to perform.
You are invited to be present.

AFTER YOUR SESSION

The Moment You See Yourself Differently.

Your experience continues with a private reveal and ordering appointment.

This is when you see your finished portraits for the first time. Together, we review the images, identify the portraits that mean the most to you, and explore how you would like to preserve and display them.

There is no need to decide what you want before the session. You will make those decisions after seeing your portraits and receiving guidance based on your images, your home, and the stories you want to preserve.

Your selected portraits are professionally retouched and prepared as finished artwork, including folio collections, albums, framed wall portraits, and statement pieces designed to be experienced beyond a screen.

The session creates the image.
The artwork preserves the legacy.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Thoughtful Answers Before Your Portrait Experience.

A few helpful details to help you feel prepared, confident, and at ease.

We begin with a relaxed conversation about your vision, who you would like photographed, why this portrait matters, and what you hope your portraits will preserve. We will also discuss the experience, artwork options, and any questions you may have. There is no obligation to book during the consultation.

This is the most common thing we hear — and our answer is always the same:
You do not need to consider yourself photogenic to create beautiful portraits. Most clients arrive with some uncertainty about how they will look or what they should do.

Terence will guide your lighting, posture, hands, expression, and movement throughout the session. The goal is not to change who you are, but to photograph you with care, intention, and an understanding of how you want to be seen.

Absolutely not. Your portrait session is fully guided from beginning to end. Terence will clearly direct your posture, hands, expression, and movement, making small adjustments throughout the session so you are never left wondering what to do.

Yes. Wardrobe and styling guidance are part of the planning process. We will discuss colors, clothing, accessories, textures, and how each choice supports the visual direction of your portraits.

Yes. Complementary professional hair and makeup for one person is included in the TMCP Creative Fee. The styling is designed to help you feel polished and camera-ready while still looking recognizably like yourself.

Additional hair and makeup services may be arranged when more than one person would like professional styling.

The photography portion is intentionally paced and will vary depending on the session concept, number of people, wardrobe changes, and creative direction.

Because professional hair and makeup, styling adjustments, and the portrait session may take several hours, we recommend reserving a generous portion of the day rather than scheduling the experience between other commitments. Your expected timing will be reviewed during the consultation, but we typically estimate between 2 to 4 hours.

You will see your portraits during a private reveal and ordering appointment after the session. Together, we will review the images, identify the portraits you love most, and explore the finished artwork that best fits your home, family, and legacy.

You do not need to choose your collection or artwork before seeing your portraits.

The $490 Creative Fee reserves and prepares your portrait experience. It includes:

Style and concept consultation
Wardrobe guidance
Complementary professional hair and makeup for one person
A fully guided portrait session
A private reveal and ordering appointment
A $250 Artwork Credit

Portraits and finished artwork are purchased separately during your ordering appointment, after you have seen your images. Every purchased Fully Finished Portrait includes the professionally retouched image, a fine-art matted print, a high-resolution digital file, social-media files, and a personal print release.
